We designed and built a new intake hopper at Rangitikei Aggregate's quarry, along with over 100 metres of conveyors which link into their existing plant. The hopper can hold 100 tons of rock and has five outlet chutes with vibrating plate feeders to ensure an even flow onto the conveyor line. The project also included some large-scale earthworks, to backfill and build an access ramp to the top of the hopper.
