5R crushes and recycles glass for various clients whom it ships to in containers. We built a towable high speed conveyor to assist them in loading their containers. The conveyor is parked in front of an open container and used in combination with a front end loader. The hopper has load cells to keep track of how many tonnes of glass have been transferred into the container, which saves 5R having to weigh the container separately afterwards. The conveyor is constructed from sheetmetal rather than structural steel, which saves weight.
